Although the club faced significant challenges following a fire that damaged its previous clubhouse in 2012, members and volunteers worked tirelessly to keep the club running. Their dedication and determination eventually led to the completion of a brand new clubhouse in 2025.

Today, Valleyfield Bowling Club continues to bring people together through sport, friendship and community spirit. 

Our club thrives on the dedication of our members and volunteers. 

Founded in 1959, Valleyfield Bowling Club has been part of the local community for more than 65 years.

Originally established by members of Valleyfield Colliery, the club provided opportunities for competitive bowling and social connection for local residents. Over the years, generations of bowlers have helped shape the club into the welcoming community organisation it is today.

In 1998, local residents worked together to improve the area surrounding the bowling green, creating a valuable community space that continues to serve local people.
